Kaffarah
​Kaffarah is a form of charitable compensation that Muslims must give when a fast during Ramadan is intentionally broken without a valid reason.
How much is Kaffarah for Ramadan 2026?
To atone for intentionally breaking a fast, a person must either:

Fast for 60 consecutive days, or

If unable to do so, feed 60 needy people at a cost of $5 per person, totaling $300 per missed fast.
